Gachiakuta is set for a massive presence at Anime Expo 2025, which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3-6.

Kodansha has confirmed that the manga’s author, Kei Urana, and graffiti designer, Hideyoshi Andou, will be attending as special guests for panels at AX2025.

Fans will have multiple opportunities to see and interact with both Urana and Andou.

The main creator panel is scheduled for July 3, 2025 from 4:15 PM to 5:05 PM in room 403AB.

This event will feature a live drawing session, a Q&A with both creators, and a showcase of the inspirations behind the upcoming Gachiakuta animated series by BONES Film.

This panel will only have limited seats so attendees will have to come early to attend the event.

This will be followed by the Gachiakuta’s US Anime Premiere in the Platinum Ballroom from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM.

After the screening, once again a special panel will be held with Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, who will be joined this time by BONES Film Producer Naoki Amano.

Beyond the panels, Gachiakuta will have a large-scale booth on the show floor.

A central attraction will be a 3D art sculpture of the protagonist Rudo’s glove, made from scrap materials to represent the series’ theme of finding value in what is discarded.

The booth will also feature numerous activities, including life-sized character photo spots, a Gachapon machine for social media followers, and a giant “Drop the Claw” crane game where winners can receive event-exclusive items.

The booth will also have a giant LED monitor screening special footage, including a collaboration video between Gachiakuta and GHOST IN THE SHELL.

Other exhibits, such as replica original art, are planned, with more details to be announced on the day of the event.
